Molly ONeill
Molly O’Neill is currently a Vice President at CGI Federal. Previously, she was the Chief Information Officer of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). In her role at EPA, she was responsible for the Agency’s information technology infrastructure, data collection and exchange, information technology policies, enterprise architecture, information security, and information quality program. She also championed innovation around transparency of data, data sharing and collaboration. As EPA’s CIO, she was also a member of the Federal CIO Council, where she served as the Co-Chair of the Architecture and Infrastructure Committee and the Co-Chair of the Infrastructure Line of Business for the federal government. In recognition of her leadership in using Web 2.0 tools in the federal government, she received the 2008 Government Computer News Government IT Executive of the Year Award and the 2009 Federal Computer Week Federal 100 Eagle award. Prior to her appointment at the U.S. EPA, she served as the State Director for the National Environmental Information Exchange Network. She also has 14 years of private sector work as a management and information technology consultant. She is a graduate of Virginia Tech.
