Amin Named New HUD CTO

Kirit Amin, former chief information officer for the State Department’s Bureau of Consular Affairs, has joined the Department of Housing and Urban Development last month as chief technology & innovation officer.

Amin left the Bureau of Consular Affairs in November after citing frustration with senior management decisions and the refusal to change the way the agency operated. He worked for State Department CIO Susan Swart for a short time before joining HUD last month.
