As General Dynamics is set to acquire CSRA in one of the biggest federal IT contractor acquisitions in years, Amy Gilliland, as president of General Dynamics IT, is poised to lead one of the largest organizations serving the federal IT community. Prior to joining General Dynamics more than a decade ago, Gilliland served in the U.S. Navy as a surface warfare and public affairs officer, including assignments with both the Office of the Secretary of the Navy and the Navy Office of Information.
