Corinne Lestch is a staff reporter covering education for FedScoop, StateScoop and (now in development) EdScoop.

Corinne was previously a staff reporter at the New York Daily News, covering a variety of beats, including crime, City Hall and education, since 2010. She also reported on national stories like the Newtown shooting and Hurricane Sandy, contributing to team coverage that won the paper a National Headliner Award.

She reported regularly on the nation's largest school system, winning a Front Page Award for a series on abuse and disciplinary issues at a Harlem elementary school from the Newswomen's Club of New York.

Corinne is a graduate of Northwestern University's Medill School of Journalism.
