Neil Fotre

Neil Fotre is a former U.S. Army armor officer and a combat veteran of the War in Afghanistan.

He was previously an Editorial Fellow at the Military Times and has freelanced for Task & Purpose, the Daily Beast as well other outlets. He is also continuing contributor to Forbes. He has covered everything from foreign policy to military culture.

Neil earned a B.A. in English from John Carroll University and an M.S. in Journalism from the Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern University.

When Neil is not pounding his index fingers at the keyboard, he is likely planning his next passport stamp or glugging away on seltzer water.
