CSC exec Sheaffer to retire

James Sheaffer, president of the North American public sector at CSC, will retire later this month, the company announced Tuesday.

Sheaffer was appointed president of the federal sector business unit in 2005. He spent 27 years of his career working with American Management Systems Inc.

He will be replaced by David Zolet, president of business development for the North American public sector.

Before joining CSC, Zolet served as vice president for systems integration at IBM and previously had a 26-year career with Northrop Grumman, where his most recent position was vice president and general manager of the enterprise infrastructure within the information technology sector.
