DISA no longer disses social media.
The Defense Information Systems Agency announced yesterday it has officially launched an agency Facebook page and Twitter feed to provide a central space to connect with the agency.

These social media channels provide a central space for you to easily connect and share with DISA, start and participate in discussions with DISA and the DoD IT community, and obtain direct and timely feedback.
We’ll be updating these accounts frequently with postings about the latest DISA and DoD IT news and information, making it even easier for you to expand your DISA and industry knowledge in real time. You can also visit our pages at any time to get a snapshot of the most recent news and look for opportunities to network and engage.
Our social media sites can be used to expand your network by connecting with the DISA community, our customers, and like-minded industry partners. Interaction on Facebook and Twitter not only gives you the opportunity to learn more about what capabilities DISA has to offer, but provides a venue to connect with key players.
