Kay Kapoor

Kay Kapoor leads a team of more than 4,000 AT&T professionals who are focused on delivering innovative technology and communications solutions including mobility, cloud, and cybersecurity to U.S. Federal Government agencies across Defense, Civilian, Public Safety and National Security customers.

Prior to joining AT&T, Kapoor served as CEO of Accenture Federal Services (AFS), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Accenture LLC. In this role, she led the U.S. Federal business and was the chairman and CEO of the Board of AFS. Before her tenure at Accenture, Kapoor worked for 20 years at Lockheed Martin Corporation leading complex organization units, as well as government relations. She ultimately served as Vice President and COO of Lockheed Martin’s $4.0B, 13,000 employee unit, IS&GS - Civil.

Ms. Kapoor has 25 years of experience in the Federal Government market. She is the recipient of numerous industry awards including the prestigious 2014 Janice K. Mendenhall Spirit of Leadership Award from the American Council for Technology/Industry Advisory Council, the Fed100 Award, and the Asian American Engineer of the Year Award.

Ms. Kapoor is on the board of several charitable and non-profit institutions. She has an active advisory role with Harvard’s John F. Kennedy School of Government, sits on the Dean’s Council and on the Board of the Belfer Center for Science and International Affairs, and is a member of the Dean’s Council at Johns Hopkins University.

Ms. Kapoor has a Master’s degree in Business from Johns Hopkins University complemented by executive programs at MIT and Harvard University. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems from the University of Maryland.
