The Department of Energy is looking for a Director of the Office of Information Technology.
Be the first director and establish the Chief Information Officer role for the Energy Information Administration.
Oversee development and implementation of agency-wide IT policies & standards, business functions and infrastructure; prepare budgetsand capital planning/investment control; evaluate IT components of contractual activities; initiate and oversee support services contracts; provide direction for day-to-day support, information life-cycle and records management, disaster recovery, backup/storage systems, tracking/reporting capabilities and cyber-security.
Requirements: Experience providing expert advisory services; extensive knowledge of telecommunications networks, data, platforms, security, accreditation requirements, and policy and planning formulation; ability to direct a security program investigating violations, conduct inspections and remote computing installations.
Position is located in the Washington DC Metro Area. Salary is $84,697 – $165,300/year. Series/Grade is EJ-0340-04/04. Apply Here.
