The Department of Justice has posted a job listing for Chief Information Officer to replace outgoing CIO Vance Hitch.

The Deputy Assistant Attorney General for Information Technology Management/Chief Information Officer serves under the general direction of the Assistant Attorney General for Administration, Justice Management Division. The incumbent has oversight responsibility for the management, acquisition, integration, and cost effective performance of the Department’s information resources, including mission and data systems, data center consolidation, telecommunications, spectrum utilization, office networks, computer security (including policy, standards, and operations), data management, information sharing, and end-user computing. The incumbent will provide overall IT portfolio management, recommend department-wide IT program improvements, and coordinate and review the department’s IT budget.
