Please note the change of a dress at the National Museum of American History. Beginning Tuesday, Michelle Obama’s second inaugural gown will be on display in The First Ladies exhibit.

The ruby-colored chiffon gown, designed by Jason Wu, is on loan from the White House for one year. The most-anticipated outfit of the 2013 inauguration will replace Mrs. Obama’s first inaugural gown as part of the museum’s showcase of first ladies’ fashion.

The First Ladies exhibit, one of the most popular attractions at the Smithsonian, highlights the changing role of the first lady throughout America’s history.
