MorningScoop: Big White House Changes, Aloha NSA and the Dallas Mavericks

Due to the events of the last few weeks, it’s not entirely surprising to see Bill Daley leave the White House, considering President Obama’s reorganization of duties amongst his staff. But as we mentioned yesterday, the interesting part, at least for us in the world of government IT, will be where the chips fall behind Jack Lew leaving OMB. Will Jeff Zients move into the big chair at the Office of Management and Budget? If he does, who takes his job as Chief Performance Officer? Zients has a deep track record of trying to bring innovation to government and using technology as a way to be more efficient, so a move could impact the federal IT landscape.
