Just in time for back-to-school shoppers, two popular retail stores are set to open in Maryland and Virginia.

PBteen, Pottery Barn’s furniture and accessories showroom for the rent-and-mortgage free set, will open its first-ever Maryland store Saturday, July 21, at the Annapolis Mall in Annapolis. The store will be anchored around a complementary PBteen Design Lab, where teens and their parents can digitally create a personalized room on a computer monitor.

The first 250 customers to “check in” at the new PBteen store via Facebook or create a wishlist in the Design Lab will receive a free PBteen back sack. Four lucky winners will find a surprise gift card for $250 inside their bag.

On July 25, clothing store H&M will welcome King Street shoppers at its newest location in Old Town. The first 100 shoppers to celebrate the new Alexandria shop will receive a special-access shopping pass and discounts valued at $300 from the label’s line of clothing and accessories for women, men and children. Everyone else will be met with cupcakes from Georgetown Cupcake.
