AWS ties Trump politics to 'egregious' JEDI errors

Monday, the U.S. Court of Federal Claims released a redacted version of Amazon's complaint in its protest of Microsoft winning the $10 billion JEDI cloud contract. Amazon Web Services' lawyers argue that "DOD consistently and repeatedly made prejudicial errors ... that systematically favored Microsoft and harmed AWS — errors that grew in magnitude at each stage, and that mirrored the increasing tactics from President Trump to thwart the award of the contract to AWS." While competitive details are redacted in the document, AWS otherwise details with deep granularity the faults it found in DOD's handling of the contract. Billy Mitchell has more from the complaint.
