The Defense Department is reviewing results from its fourth annual audit. Those results included some progress; but the department still has a long way to go. Former Deputy Chief Financial Officer at the Pentagon Mark Easton discusses the results from this year, and what they mean for future years.

The National Science Foundation is celebrating a show of force. The NSF is a winner for a technology innovation it demonstrated recently.  Deputy Chief Financial Officer at NSF Michael Wetklow explains the story behind FORCE. He also previewed some blockchain work the agency is doing, and some workforce efforts from the Chief Financial Officers Council.
