Improving zero-trust implementation across government; Using TMF to leverage modernization efforts

On today’s episode of The Daily Scoop Podcast, the Office of Personnel Management is using the Technology Modernization Fund (TMF) to speed up zero-trust implementation.

The Federal Zero Trust Strategy could become an “incomplete experiment” according to the National Security Telecommunications Advisory Committee. Margie Graves, senior fellow at the IBM Center for the Business of Government and Chair of the Industry Advisory Council, explains her takeaways from NSTAC’s report and how government agencies can improve zero-trust implementation.

The one year anniversary of the American Rescue Plan Act signing comes next week. That bill put $1 billion into the TMF. General Services Administration Administrator Robin Carnahan joins FedScoop Editor-in-Chief Billy Mitchell during ITModWeek to discuss implementation of modernization efforts across government.
