Modernizing business processes in government and evidence-based policy making in Congress

While Congress mandates federal agencies to implement evidence-based decision making, the lawmaking body itself has no obligation for using data to make policy. Capitol Hill lawmakers are now looking to executive branch agencies for strategies to apply data to complicated decisions and policies.
