Sienkiewicz gets new role at DISA; Bennett named CIO

Defense Information Systems Agency Chief Information Officer Henry Sienkiewicz will become the new vice chief information assurance executive at the agency, the Department of Defense announced Tuesday.

David Bennett, previously the vice component acquisition executive at DISA, will become the new CIO.

Bennett previously served as the deputy PEO for GIG Enterprise Services at DISA and was the deputy CEO for C2C, also at DISA, as well as the program manager for Global Command and Control Systems.

Bennett holds a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice from Southern Mississippi and a master’s degree in computer science from the University of Florida, and a master’s in national resource strategy from the Industrial College of the Armed Forces.
