White House launches AI cyber challenge to identify and fix open-source software vulnerabilities

Teams that compete in the DARPA-led challenge will be able to win for prizes worth a total of more than $25 million.

OpenAI, Meta and other tech firms sign onto White House AI commitments

The commitments include committing to pre-release security testing for AI models and forming insider threat safeguards and cybersecurity investments focused on unreleased and proprietary model weights.
