Department of Education officials hosted a panel on the White House initiatives to increase high-speed broadband access in schools and get the word out that educators can apply for free software through the federal grant.

Richard Culatta, director of the Office of Educational Technology at the Department of Education, will be speaking about White House Internet connectivity and innovation initiatives Wednesday.
