The House Committee on Energy and Commerce on Wednesday discussed a particular piece of legislation that, if passed, could be a setback for open data. That, combined with the most recent discovery GSA’s Federal Acquisition Service took a step to make its data less searchable, has put open data on the tip of everyone’s tongue this week.
