Massage Envy locations in D.C., Maryland and Virginia are offering free, 1-hour massages to all veterans, military personnel and military spouses this Veterans Day. Thousands of appointments have already been booked as part of the national spa chain’s “Massages for the Military” celebration.

“We want to do our part for the men and women who dedicate their lives for the safety of our country,” said Ronn Wadsworth, Massage Envy Spa regional chief operating officer. “Protecting the freedoms of our nation is a stressful job, and considering that massage therapy provides stress relief in addition to many other health benefits, it’s a great way for us to actually demonstrate our appreciation to local veterans, military personnel and their spouses.”

The 33 locations across the D.C. area will be decked in red, white and blue, and have refreshments on hand for the honored guests.
