A film telling the story behind the three most terrorizing weeks in Washington will be in theaters next month. The trailer for “Blue Caprice” was released Thursday.
The movie explores the relationship between Beltway snipers John Allen Muhammad and Lee Boyd Malvo who, from a Chevy Caprice, killed 10 people in the D.C. metropolitan area during a shooting spree in October 2002. Isaiah Washington plays Muhammad, the mastermind behind the attacks.
“Blue Caprice” made its debut to rave reviews at the 2013 Sundance Film Festival. It will open in theaters Sept. 13.
