2012_01_googleplus

The White House has joined Google+ with plans to host “hangouts” with administration officials.

White House Deputy Director of Outreach for the Office of Digital Strategy Kori Schulman said the White House is seeking user feedback on what they would like to see from the page. Already, it includes news from the blog and behind the scenes photos and videos.

“To kick things off, we want to hear from you about our new page,” Schulman said on the White House blog. “What else would you like to see from the White House on Google+? Have a great idea for a White House Hangout or thoughts on the types of updates that are most interesting? Let us know on our new Google+ page. So, what are you waiting for? Add the White House to your circles. We’re looking forward to hanging out!”
