Public Voting Begins on Apps for Environment Challenge

Voting for the Environmental Protection Agency’s Apps for the Environment challenge began yesterday with the public choosing between 38 user-created applications that uses EPA data for their creation.

Citizens can vote here for the Popular Choice award while EPA will select Best Overall App and Best Student App and their runners up. There will be five prizes awarded in total.

More than 100 apps ideas were submitted, including suggestions for HTML5, dashboards, heatmaps, travel, social communities, games and more.
