TechTake explores the bigger issues and trends in the federal IT community, and twice-monthly features a “Women in Technology” segment.

The SocialGov Summit held Tuesday gathered more than 200 federal officials to talk about the virality of government. The audience heard from representatives from the Labor Department, NASA, Health and Human Services Department, Transportation Security Administration and General Services Administration.

BuzzFeed’s Viral Politics Editor Benny Johnson also provided insight into the world of viral content and how agencies can tap into its potential by reaching wider-than-usual audiences.
